I’ve been experimenting more with dyeing my nylon plastic earrings. Lately, I’ve been using the idye poly dyes from Jacquard products. This pair was dyed using the crimson color. I achieved the ombre effect by lifting sections out of the dye at different times. I think I could have done better with it being more light at the top areas, but I’m happy with it as a first attempt. With these dyes, I use only 1/4 teaspoon of the dye in a small pot of water.
