A new pendant design and trying out a new finish

This is my latest pendant design, printed first in steel. This pic shows the three finishes I tried — the gold plate, the bronze plate, and the plain polished steel/bronze. This is the first time that I tried something in the non-plated finish for steel, and I really like the look. It’s shiny, but not too shiny, and the color is not a boring grey because the tinge of bronze gives it a vaguely steampunk look. I’m going to have some other steel pendants printed with this same finish but I don’t know if they will all turn out as well because apparently it’s difficult to get a consistent color with the steel and bronze mixture.

I’m also adapting this design for nylon plastic earrings and for cast metal pendants. It’s an interesting look because the ribbons around the torus shape look like they are not connected and just floating in air, but in fact there are hidden connection points.
